AL-FATIHAH WORKSHOP: REKINDLING OUR SOULS WITH
Surah Al-Fatihah holds a unique and revered position in the Quran. It is the opening chapter of the holy book, a prayer that Muslims recite in every unit of their daily prayers. This surah, consisting of only seven verses, carries profound meanings and is a foundation for understanding the Quran.
A Surah which is recited 17 times daily. Yet, it will always be known to be an underrated and evergreen Surah to go through its gems and wisdom behind the verses. There will always be something to go through regarding its technicality in reciting and pronouncing certain hurufs (letters) in certain special words.
This first chapter in The Quran is heavily regarded as compulsory in our Fardh prayer. Without it, the act of our Fardh prayer will be invalid. At the same time, this Surah is valued so highly that it is highly recommended that we recite it in our daily activities for its blessings and spiritual protection.
